and Finance Committee it was agreed to rescind the previous minute 6/16 dated 5th May 2016, appointing internal
Mr K. Thomas and Mr D. Rosser as internal auditors and to further appoint Mr Mark Evans for the year 2016 – 2017

It was agreed to adopt the updated Standing Orders which
were duly signed and dated 6th October 2016. All members
will be given hard copies of the document

It was agreed to adopt the above policy which was duly signed
and dated 6th October 2016. All members will be given hard copies of the document

Parks Committee- Minutes attached
The minutes of the meeting of 14th September 2016 were accepted as a true record
It was agreed to replace the swings and slide removed from the park for safety reason in the next financial year.
It was agreed to apply for a grant for the new items in the proposed toddler area
A request to start the above will be progressed in due course
The Chairman would like to extend the thanks of the
Community Council to Mr Gareth Evans and
Councillor Adrian Bradley for all their hard work on the
green this season
The minutes of the 29th September were accepted as a true record.
Preliminary Precept report – It was agreed to leave this
item until after the Community Liaison forum at NPT ,
where the coming County Council budget will be discussed.
6 monthly review of budget
The review was circulated to members and approved.
One Voice Wales regional group meeting
Councillor T Jones is representing this council and the
area committee of OVW on the Neath Port Talbot
Well being committee.
School Governors Report
The above committee met on19th September 2016
3 new Governors were welcomed:

William Willis Parent Community Governor
Committees were formed, Chairman and Vice Chair
20 new note books have been purchased to replace aging
i.pads with more to be purchased when funds become
available. An extra meeting has been decided this term and an extra teacher will work 2 days a week to cover teachers
Example: Year 3 Teacher Mrs Groth is attending courses on Special Needs.
Year 6 Teacher Mr Morgan is also attending courses.
On 27th June 2016, attendance was on target with 95% attendance.
Mr Dodd is going to liaise with other Primary Schools to share
and compare each other strengths. Jen Malcom was very impressed with Ynysfach`s progress.
113/16 Chairman’s Report.
The Chairman advised that he had attended a meeting at the
Pen Y Cymoedd Wind Farm project and reported that 53 windmills are now complete and the remaining are being assembled.
There will be a Community Fund Road show in November
and members will attend.
114/16 Councillors reports
Cllr T. Jones expressed deep concern about the situation of
the mountain in Abergarwed that appears to be on the move. There have been several landslides in this area, and it is requested that NPT be contacted to assess and inspect the mountain to avoid further erosion and possible damage
to property and danger to residents
The drain from the bowling green to TRW is blocked,
Cllr I. Ace will contact relevant parties.
