Service Re-Opening -Resolven Post Office
Previously located at: 29 Commercial Road, Resolven, Neath, West Glamorgan, SA11 4NA
We are delighted to let you know that we will be restoring Post Office services to Resolven Post Office on Tuesday 11 January 2022 at 14:30.
The branch closed temporary on Friday 19 November 2021 following the resignation of the postmaster and the withdrawal of the premises for Post Office use.
We are pleased to be able to reinstate the service as a Temporary Mobile service whilst we continue to seek a permanent solution.
The Mobile service will be located at Lyons Place Car Park, Resolven, Neath, West Glamorgan, SA11 4ND.
This Mobile service is scheduled to commence from Tuesday 11 January 2022at 14:30. Full details of the new temporary service are provided at the end of this letter. I know that the local community will join me in welcoming this good news and hope that you and our customers will continue to use this service. If you are a local representative, please feel free to share this information with those in your organisation who you feel would have an active interest in this matter. If you have any questions about the new service, please contact the National Consultation Team, as detailed below. Please note that your comments will not be kept confidential unless you expressly ask us to do so by clearly marking them “In Confidence”.

Opening times – Tuesday 14:30 –16:30
Services – A range of services will be available. Customers can still collect benefits in cash using our everyday banking services or Post Office card account.
Access and facilities – There is a step into the Mobile vehicle, however an electronic tailgate is available to facilitate easy access for wheelchair users and those with disabilities.
Parking – Parking available close to the Mobile Van.
Getting there – This Mobile Post Office service is located approximately 145meters away from the previous branch, along varied terrain.
