Members of the Community Council are pleased to advise that the Pen Y Cymoedd Community Fund has awarded £15,979.80 for investigations into the feasibilty of utilising the previous multi use games area into a more sustainable 3G pitch which will be available to many more organisations in the village and surrounding area.
We are at the first stage of this project which take approximately 18-24 months, and many considerations will need to be taken into account.
We are hoping to get further grant funding from other grant providers with support from the Community Council.
Following on from the recent household survey there will be consultation with many organisations within the local area including the football and rugby clubs, the school, dance clubs, building blocks and any other interested parties. There will also be a public consutlation when all infromation has been gathered.
