87/21 Residents of Vaughan Avenue re football and Injury reported on recreation field and s subsequent legal action – A meeting with the Resolven AFC is being held to try to resolve the many issues outstanding
83/21 Future contractual agreements (in camera) – postponed until the next meeting
85/21 Assist with grass cutting in the cemetery – This item postponed until next year
98/21 Art Trails in Resolven and letter to residents
A proposal to use art to enhance the community of Resolven has been put forward. Members have invited Mrs Yun Yun Herbert to the next meeting in October to explain the concept in more detail.
99/21 New Councillor
A proposal to Co-Opt a full Councillor aged 18yrs with full voting rights was agreed and enquiries will be made for a suitable candidate who would be interested in the role.
100/21 Radio Station installation in Hall
Members have been approached to use the Community Centre to install a radio station. Suitable accommodation is available, and members will pursue the project with various members of the Community
101/21 Christmas lights and new posts
The Council was hoping to install more Christmas lights around the village, unfortunately after liaising with NPT no further suitable post have been found to accommodate the lights.
102/21 Rent review (to include utilities) for users – The finance committee will look into this matter

Parks/Environment/Hall committee. – No meeting
Playground Inspection Training is being held on 16th September at various locations around the community. Cllr Aylwin Jones and Mr Roy Gillespie will be attending.
Planning App P2021/0886 – 6 Rugby Road, Resolven 2 storey and single
storey extensions – No objections recorded.
Finance Committee. – No meeting
105/21 Chairman’s Report.
The Chair advised that Ms Zoe Lake will be providing free Christmas Lunches again this year to those who are on their own. A request for a donation was granted and £150 will be provided.
Following concerns about the Company accessing grant funding for our application for digital technology, it was agreed not to go ahead with our request.

Cllr T. Jones again reported that motor bikes were regularly turning up on a Sunday morning and causing much damage to areas in Abergarwed.
