About the NPT works at the bottom of John St. to lay pipes and clear gutters to prevent flooding, Cllr A. Jones asked Cllr Lewis to check that the Japanese knotweed in the area had been treated before work began to ensure that there was no cross contamination in the parks.
A further request to clean the lane at Glyncastle was made.
Cllr T. Jones asked that NPT be thanked for the clearing of leaves and gutters along the B4242 which has prevented flooding this year

116/21 Lighting at school camp – It was agreed to ask a contractor to install low level solar lighting on the pathway
Key for Ty Banc – It was agreed open the gate when requested by the organisation, but not to give out keys on health and safety grounds
132/21 Mobile – Post office – The mobile Post Office is now up and running
132/21 Toy for a Child- The project hosted by the food bank at Buildings Blocks was awarded £200 by the Community Council
05/22 Correspondence
NPT Council has offered communication boards to parks for children who cannot communicate verbally. The members have requested a board for Resolven and Abergarwed park.
06/22 Sub-Committee Reports
Parks/Environment/Hall committee. – No meeting in December 21
Issues raised
Damage to an area in the toddler’s area due to fire
The bowling green to be opened mid-April
Broken hand sanitisers to be replaced.
Finance Committee. – No meeting in December
Next Internal Audit to be carried out this month

Cllr Francis welcomed the news of the mobile Post Office now being available
He also hoped that all current Councillors would stand in the forthcoming elections in May and the 3 vacancies we now have will be filled.
