The procedure to engage another Councillor will now go ahead. 11/26 Correspondence NPT Earned Settlement Consultation 12/26 Sub Committee reports – Finance/Parks There were no meetings in January, the Parks committee will reconvene in March and finance will continue to be discussed in the full council meeting. 13/26. Chairmans Report The Chair reported that contact has been made with Network Rail to establish if a level crossing could be installed instead of the footbridge at Rugby Road. The response from the company stated that following discussion with the local level crossing team and due to safety concerns, this would not be possible unless there was no alternative. In this instance there is a bridge in place and therefore a level crossing would not be installed. Should the bridge require any maintenance then Neath Port Talbot Council would be the main contact. A request has been sent to Cllr Dean Lewis to assist in the implementation of traffic calming in Resolven, following the recent report of a traffic incident 14/26. Councillors reports A report has been made to Cllr Dean Lewis with regard to the state of the gulleys, pot holes and railing in Glyncastle also the adopted footpath which is covered in moss and debris. The railings at the bottom of the park in the large car park are in disrepair the owners will be contacted. |
