The minutes of the last Monthly Meeting held on Thursday 16th June 2019 were confirmed as a true record.
Resignation – Letters of Resignation have been received from Councillors Brenda John and Trevor Harris. It was proposed to send a letters of thanks.
The current bank reconciliation and monthly figures were presented and approved by the members
The new logo design has been approved and will be incorporated for use on headed paper and other areas where necessary
Ownership belongs to the Community Council. The proposal to survey the residents of Abergarwed on what they would like to see in the park will be put to the full council
Tennis – the free tennis sessions have been advertised on Web site and facebook
Community Tool Bank – this have been delayed for the present
The insulation in the pavilion roof is insufficient and needs to be updated
Windows in the pavilion need replacing it was proposed to replace 3 at this time.
Grants for these projects will be looked into
Internal Audit report – this was read out to the members and will be taken to the full council
The current planning application has been refused, County Councillor Dean Lewis and members of the Community Council will meet to discuss this situation.
A proposal for all members to have business cards was discussed and agreed in principle. This will be taken to the full Council.
